MODELS: The number one complaint from photographers is a model who doesn’t know how to pose. You can be the prettiest girl in real life, but if you can’t pose… the pictures will be awful. With all the light metering, focusing, lens switching, and balancing on one leg with a five pound camera in hand, the last thing a photographer needs is to add is directing their model into flattering poses to the mix. Know how to pose will not only get you better pictures, but get you the callbacks and referrals that are so important in this industry.

NON-MODELS: Having your picture taken is unavoidable and in today’s world, pictures gets posted on Facebook or MySpace for all the world to see. You want to look your best because nobody wants their high school crush looking them up on some social networking site only to see snapshots that make you look like you weigh 30lbs more than you do and have a lazy eye. Just think how great it would be to get your vacation pics and say “I look fantastic!”. Believe it or not, it can be done.

This one class will help you understand exactly what looks good through the lens, how to showcase your best features and hide your… ahem… least flattering bits. We will cover basic makeup and hairstyling tips also. The class will include a photo session with Supervixens professional female photographer and every participant will get a fantastic 8×10 portrait of themselves showing off their new supermodel posing skills.

HOW TO BE SEXY IN PHOTOS - In this (18 and older) class we will cover how to look good with very little clothing on (don’t worry! nudity not required), as well as: how to pose in low-light situations, angles that make any woman look good, and most importantly how to make a “sexy face” that’s actually sexy! As always, basic hair and makeup tips will be covered especially for this style of photography. The class will include a photo session with Supervixens female photographer and every participant will get a fantastic 8×10 portrait of themselves showing off their new sexy self.

HOW TO BE A RETRO PIN-UP MODEL - If you’re curvy or slender, cute or strong, exotic or girl-next-door-ish, there’s a pin-up look that will suit you. Forget cranky, sullen, stick-thin models, there’s something about the pin-up girls that was truly appealing and feminine. Learn how to pose and the basics of retro glamour. This class includes an extended hair and makeup lesson by a professional Hollywood stylist and will, of course, include a photo session with Supervixens female photographer and every participant will get a fantastic 8×10 portrait of themselves showing off their new retro pin-up glam.

**All classes are women only. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you can take the basic or pin-up class, but you must have a parent sign a model release in person. If you are under 16 please contact us as we may be offering a class for teens soon.
